Family Attraction

1998

The last "nuclear family" in America is an endangered species, held in captivity at the National Zoo. With a perfectly recreated suburban environment and a perfectly constituted family, all seems safe. Dad, however, grows increasingly agitated by the crowds and escapes from the zoo. A national emergency is declared, the President is alarmed and America's last hope for a sense of commitment is threatened. Even though Dad's got it made on the outside, he can't help sneaking back to the zoo to peek at his abandoned family, perhaps the biggest mistake he ever made.
