Fallen Stars chronicles the unexpected friendship between two lost souls: Cooper, a burnt out bartender, who at 36, still isn't sure what he wants to do with his life, and Daisy: an extremely accomplished, but socially awkward girl in her early twenties. Despite a difference in age and backgrounds, these two kindred souls gradually get to know each other and in the process form a relationship that is not romantic, but in many ways, much more intimate.
