Two nice guys, a wrestler (Bud Spencer) and an ice-cream vendor (Giuliano Gemma) are mistaken for dangerous killers by a menacing local gangster, who goes by the name of Sorriso. In order to survive, they start playing along with Sorriso by pretending to work for him. But when they are ordered to butcher the components of a very indigent family they must spill out the truth.
