A group of travelling students arrive in a mysteriously quiet town which was once the location of a Civil War battle. The tranquility is brought to an abrupt halt when the youngsters inadvertently awaken the bitter spirit of a Confederate soldier, who promptly employs an army of surprisingly athletic zombies to teach the visitors a chilling lesson.
