De droomproducenten

1984 Documentary

An overview of post-war film production in the Low Countries. At the end of World War II, both countries registered the highest per-capita filmgoing figures, while their own film industry hardly developed. And though feature film quite rapidly becomes a cheap supplement to their own programming, television stations avoid having filmmakers in their management ranks. Thanks to new technological developments, the use of motion pictures will continue to increase. But nobody seems to care about the production of the most important element in that evolution: moving pictures.
