The manager of a department store comes up with a radical new approach to the Christmas display, and fires the shop's regular Santa Claus. A new employee and her daughter take pity on the old man and help to bring some festive spirit back to him and her workplace - but they don't realise the dismissed Father Christmas is the real thing.
