Based on the Novel

A satiric look at the inner workings of the Dutch film industry, De boekverfilming/Based On The Novel stars Dirk Seeleneberg as Lars, an arrogant young filmmaker who is preparing his next project, a film adaptation of a popular novel, which gives him the opportunity to juggle three actresses as he attempts to cast the leading role. Director Eddy Terstall put together this project in a short burst of inspiration, penning the screenplay in three days and completing the filming in twelve.
