The opening film of the 16th Festival, Wild About Harry is a delightful romp about Harry - a celebrity chef, whose massive popularity belies his own dislikeable nature. Having utilised his TV fame to bed women and hell raise, Harry is forced to consider his own mortality when a life-threatening illness changes his trenchant viewpoints. With an original script by Colin Bateman (the author of Divorcing Jack), Lowney's debut feature is a fresh, warm and witty take on traditional subjects of redemption and the influence of the media.
