Keanu Reeves is good at many things, but radiating a quiet menace is not one of them. Yet that's about all the script calls on him to do in this disappointing serial killer by numbers effort. Here he plays Griffin, a murderer who has not only evaded capture by the FBI but also caused his pursuer, Campbell (James Spader), to have a nervous breakdown. Deciding that he wants to test Campbell again, Griffin begins another killing spree. A predictable story hampers tension to almost non-existent levels and the performances are all below par in this half idea of a film.
