Schwartzman plays a student more interested in extra-curricular activities (including teacher Williams) than his grades. Millionaire Murray is enlisted to help the precocious kid get the girl only for the older man to fall in love with her too. For a movie that's hailed as a left-of-centre comedy, 'Rushmore' treads a well-worn path.
