In case you thought we were somehow going to let this whole (heh) Thanos / Ant-Man ass theory thing just disappear, Josh Brolin is now in on it.
In an Instagram post from last night, Josh Brolin recorded a video of him on a toilet, straining to evacuate himself along with the hashtag #flushantman. The caption, meanwhile, reads as follows: "The tension around what “Endgame” is going to bring. I can feel it, as you can see. Can you?" So, how did all this start? What is the Thanos / Ant-Man ass theory?
A post did the rounds last year where it was essentially posited that the reason why Ant-Man wasn't in 'Avengers: Infinity War' was because Marvel knew if he was in that movie, it would have been over quickly. How so, you ask? Because Ant-Man could shrink down in size and make his way into Thanos' asshole, return to full-size and thus killing him.
When we interviewed Paul Rudd for the press junket with 'Ant-Man And The Wasp', we devoted a significant portion of our time with him to this very question. That's right, folks - we asked Paul Rudd about Thanos / Ant-Man ass theory.
Well, given how the video of that interview is now has over 800,000 views and will probably cross the million mark any day now, it was only a matter of time before Josh Brolin was made aware of it. If it turns out that we end up interview him for 'Avengers: Endgame', you can be sure we'll put this same question to him.
Because that's what we do here. We're journalists.
