Carrie Fisher and her mother, Debbie Reynolds, were laid to rest yesterday in Los Angeles in a private ceremony attended by close family and friends.
Although a public memorial service is planned for a later date, journalists and photographers were camped out nearby and managed to catch a glimpse of something very, very weird - Todd Fisher, Carrie's brother, holding a ceramic urn that looked like a giant Prozac pill. As it turned out, that's exactly what it was.
As Fisher explained, the choice was made by both him and Fisher's daughter, actress Billie Lourd. "Carrie's favorite possession was a giant Prozac pill that she bought many years ago. A big pill," he explained. "She loved it, and it was in her house, and Billie and I felt it was where she'd want to be."

"We couldn't find anything appropriate. Carrie would like that," Fisher added. "It was her favorite thing, and so that's how you do it." Carrie Fisher suffered from mental illness for many years and was often frank about her experiences with both medicinal drugs and recreational ones, so why not go out in something like this?
Even in the end, Carrie Fisher is still hilarious and makes people laugh. What a legend. What a loss.
