Hugh Jackman has said after this X Men he might hang up his claws. X Men: Days of Future Past is out in May 2014 but Jackman has said it might be his last outing as Wolverine.

Speaking to MTV, Jackman made the disappointing announcement, 'It may be the last.By the way, it didn't hit me until three weeks before the end because we promoted The Wolverine and I came back on set with three weeks to go, and that's when I went, 'Well, who knows? Maybe there's no more Wolverine. Maybe this is it. Who knows? Maybe?' Well that doesn't clear anything up.

As he didn't know his fate Jackman said he enjoyed the last few weeks on set. 'So I really made the most of those last few weeks. I enjoyed every time I put the claws on. I nicked everything off the set, so Halloween, come to me and I'll hook you up'.

Jackman has played the superhero a whopping seven times, first debuting as Wolverine in 'X Men' released in 2000. He remained quiet on what we can expect in the upcoming movie bar hinting that his solo film Wolverine will have implications for the film. 'If I tell you it is giving away literally the key scene, Literally, I would be killed. I cannot say one part of that scene'. Well, we don't want him killed do we so we will just have to wait and see.

X Men: Days of Future Past hits our screens on May 22, 2014.
