Owen Wilson and Zach Galifianakis have been confirmed to star in the directorial feature debut of Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner, You Are Here.
Weiner has been developing the film for years and is delighted he's finally getting to make it. "This movie has been my passion for eight years, and to see it come together with Owen and Zach and Amy is a dream come true," said Weiner in a press release. "I can't wait to get started because the movie is about everything I care about, and I'm tired of reading it out loud to my friends." Wilson and Galifianakis will play childhood best friends who go on a road trip after Galifianakis' character inherits cash after the death of his estranged father. Parks and Recreation star, Amy Poehler is in advanced talks to play Galifianakis' sister.
Weiner will shoot in a couple of months when Mad Men wraps its fifth season.
