We think it's high time we had another Will Ferrell comedy to look forward to, don't you? We weren't too keen on The Campaign, so here's hoping this next venture lives up to Step Brothers/Anchorman standards.
Instead of Step Brothers, this time we've got a movie called Tag Brothers, starring fellow comedy veteran, Jack Black.
This would mark Black and Ferrell's first feature length pairing (if you exclude their very brief although memorable scene in Anchorman). With both of their comedy repetiores in mind, we'd have high hopes for this one.
It's based on a true story, where a group of former classmates' long-standing game of Tag caught the attention of the Wall Street Journal, which inevitably made it national news. They were from Spokane in Washington.
In what sounds like an original, and deliciously ridiculous story, the group of lads now in their 40s are faced with their personal and professional struggles, however, at the same time, they must chase each other here their and everywhere to avoid being 'It'.
You can just imagine the kind of carnage that will go down. However, Ferrell and Black's involvement depends entirely on whether Mark Steilen will pen the screenplay. Write it, please!
