Now that Ghostbusters 3 is moving ahead and an all-female team of Ghostbusters is confirmed, several names have been mooted as replacements for Drs. Spengler, Venkman and Stantz.
However, one name that didn't initially come up on our list of potentials has already met with director Paul Feig.
Pitch Perfect's Rebel Wilson has discussed the possibility of starring in Ghostbusters 3 with Feig - who worked together on 2011's Bridesmaids.
In a recent interview, Wilson explained that the script was not yet finished - however Feig is holding discussions with possible choices for the film.
Many stars have been linked to the female reboot of the classic sci-fi comedy, including Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph and even Gillian Anderson has said she's definitely up for the role.
So to is Rebel Wilson, claiming she'd do Ghostbusters 3 for free.
