Last year's brilliant (and underwatched) comedy mockumentary What We Do In The Shadows has managed to snag director Taika Waititi a pretty decent directing stint since the film was released - namely, the third Thor movie, Ragnorak.
While some commentators think Waititi is a poor choice for the Marvel, everything we've heard so far is positive and, more importantly, interesting. Thor: The Dark World, sadly, was one of the poorest Marvel movies to date so shifting it in a completely new direction - comedy road movie - should be fun.
There's more. In a recent interview, the director and star of What We Do In The Shadows confirmed that there's a spin-off mockumentary in the works.
"It’s going to be called ‘We’re Wolves,’ like ‘We are wolves.’ We’re Wolves," explained Waititi. The New Zealand-born director went on, explaining that he and Jermaine Clement - his co-writer / co-star - are working on the script with the plan to shoot We're Wolves after Thor: Ragnorak has finished.
If you've never seen What We Do In The Shadows, you really do need to sort that out. Think Peep Show with vampires and you're on the right track
Just take a look at this to get a feel for it.
