We're almost there now; after next Sunday's Oscars we'll be pretty much done and dusted with awards season. In the interim, however, there's still a few small ones to go. This weekend saw the arrival of the WGAs - the Writers Guild of America Awards. Acknowledging the best in film writing (well done to those who figured that one out), it was another good weekend for Ben Affleck, whose film took home the Adapated Screenplay gong. Yet again, fair play to screenwriter Chris Terrio for his wordsmith abilities. So too were the folk at camp Zero Dark Thirty celebrating upon winning the Original Screenplay award.

Below are the film awards from the WGAs (winners in italics) but if it's the TV highlights your after, head over yonder to Sarah's TV quarters.
