You likely haven't heard of a lot of the 'day and date' top movies on iTunes in 2015, but the legally purchased flicks all did well.
Some films such as Samuel L. Jackson starrer Big Game got a cinematic release this side of the pond while others like Chris Evans' directorial debut Before We Go seemingly came out of nowhere.
Day and date basically means that the movies got a very small cinematic release the same day they were released on iTunes for public consumption.
There are some big name lead actors in there, including Adam Sander and Charlize Theron, but all were trumped by none other than Ethan Hawke.
Predestination featured the twice Oscar-nominated actor as a 'time-traveling Temporal Agent.' He should go back and tell himself not to make Regression. HEY-OH!
