We’ve all been there – the sheer panic of trying to secure a date for a wedding, alongside the need to prove to your friends and family that you’re a mature, responsible adult now.
The new Irish film follows the titular ‘Mad’ Mary McArdle who has just spent some time in prison. She wants her life to become normal again but then her best friend, Charlene, announces she’s getting married and asks Mary to be maid of honour.
Every attempt Mary makes to get a date for the big day fails miserably, until she meets the mysterious Jess…
The film stars Seána Kerslake (Can’t Cope, Won’t Cope; Dollhouse), Tara Lee (Moon Dogs, RAW), and Love/Hate alumni Denise McCormack, Siobhan Shanahan, and Mark Dunne.
