Remakes are definitely the types of movies that stir up the most controversy. It must be said that most of the time filmmakers should steer clear and many believe that cult classic 80s flick RoboCop should be left alone.
Well nobody listens to us normal, rational people and RoboCop has been resurrected - this time with a cast that people might actually recognise, including the inimitable Samuel L. Jackson.
Joel Kinnaman, who had the look of a strangely sexy heroin addict when he was in The Killing, is RoboCop aka Alex Murphy, the injured (ok, mostly dead) cop who is given a second chance.
Also appearing are Gary Oldman, Michael Keaton (he's back!) Jackie Earle Healy, Jay Baruchel and Abbie Cornish as the wife.
It will hit Irish screens on February 7th 2014 and truth be told, we're really looking forward to it. Are you? let us know below.
