The Star Wars Celebration is taking place from today until Sunday in Orlando, Florida.
Hopes are high that the trailer for The Last Jedi will finally be unveiled at the event (rumour has it that it will drop at a panel tomorrow *gasps*) but there’s been looking back at as well as forward at the Star Wars saga.
An emotive tribute to the late Carrie Fisher, who passed away last December, was screened.
The five-minute long video celebrates the actress’s life and career and shows recent interviews spliced with production footage from the original trilogy and words of love from her peers.
Carrie Fisher’s humour and vest for life powerfully shine through.

The moving tribute was introduced during the Star Wars: A New Hope panel by Fisher's daughter Billie Lourd, who shared with the crowd the most important advice she'd ever received from her mum: "If life isn't funny, then it's just true, and that is unacceptable."
