Chris Rock is one of the funniest men on the planet. No doubt. But the actor, writer and director has struggled to translate his stand up success to the big screen. Until now.
He directs, writes and stars in Top Five, which resulted in a huge bidding war between studios when it screen at The Toronto International Film Festival. Rock got strong reviews, and it looks like a belter.
The film is due for release here in Ireland in January. Expect this one to do big business.
