Last year's Academy Awards had possibly one of the strongest showings for Irish talent since the Oscars began.
Lenny Abrahamson for Room, Saoirse Ronan for Brooklyn and Ben Cleary's short, Stutterer all featured, with Ben scooping the Oscar for Best Live-Action Short. The short was made available on RTE Player for some time, however The New Yorker has now uploaded the film in full to their YouTube account under their Screening Room series.
It's a heartbreaking, honest account of trying to form a relationship when the words you say speak against you with some beautiful cinematography and a strong central performance by Matthew Needham.
Take a look.
