The more we see of Sofia Coppola's latest film, The Beguiled, the more it's shaping up to be one of the must see films of the summer.
Part period drama/part psychological thriller, the adaptation of Thomas Cullinan's novel sees a wounded Union solider (Colin Farrell) get taken in by the staff of a girls school located in Confederate territory. Although he initially manages to warm his way into the hearts (and beds) of the various women in the school, it doesn't take long for things to go badly wrong for him.
The new trailer showcases more of Nicole Kidman than the initial teaser. With this coming along after the rave reviews for her performance in Big Little Lies, it looks like 2017 will be her year.
The Beguiled will be in Irish cinemas on July 14th.
