Looking down the cast of Handsome Devil, it basically reads like a who's-who of Irish acting talent.
In no particular order, John Butler's follow-up to 2013's The Stag stars Ardal O'Hanlon, Amy Huberman, Andrew Scott, Moe Dunford, Michael McElhatton, Hugh O'Conor and a host of upcoming talent, particularly the leads Fionn O'Shea and Nicholas Galitzine. The film, which is set in a private boarding school, sees a loner (O'Shea) and a rugby all-star (Galitzine) forced to share a room together.
The two are, at first, are completely ambivalent to one another but it's only a matter of time before they both develop a friendship and reliance on one another - which is then tested by the authorities in the school, both the official and unofficial ones.
The film is due to close out this year's Audi Dublin International Film Festival, with the film already receiving strong reviews out of TIFF.
