There has been an incredible amount of excitement in the last week since the release of the Star Wars trailer, and there have already been plenty of parodies.
Between the George Lucas version, the Wes Anderson version, and countless others, there is a lot of competition for the title of best parody, but Saturday Night Live's effort this past weekend is possibly sitting on top of the pile.
Given that the movie is set a long time ago, but also a long time after the events of Episodes IV, V and VI, they figured that some of the main characters might be getting on a bit, and put together a brilliant sketch that pokes plenty of fun at the movie, with some nods back to great scenes from the first trilogy that we all know and love.
