Billed as being "a chronicle of the years leading up to Queen's appearance at the Live Aid concert in 1985", the Freddie Mercury biopic, provisionally titled 'Bohemian Rhapsody', is going to have a lot of eyes on it.
And the honour and weight of playing the Queen frontman was always going to weigh heavy on whoever was chosen to represent him on the big screen but, besides being immensely talented and having the support of the band, Rami Malek has the look in the bag.
In case you don't agree or can't see it for yourself, Jimmy Kimmel came to the rescue last night by providing Malek with the signature lip-tickler that Mercury made famous and we have to say, it really suits him. He could make the perfect Freddie or, with a bit of trim, a perfect Charlie Chaplin.
The Bryan Singer directed film is set to film next year, with a release date likely in 2018.
