Kevin Nolan heads the Irish chapter of the Planetary Society, which was founded in 1980 by Carl Sagan and is currently headed by Bill Nye. Kevin talked at length about how realistic The Martian was and how it could very well act as an inspiration to science students watching.
It's pretty exciting stuff, to be honest.
As well as Keith, Leo Enright - the only journalist on Earth who's able to say they reported from Mars (via the Curiosity Rover) - also gave his reaction to The Martian, saying that it's entirely possible someone watching the film could walk on the surface of Mars within their own lifetime.
