We know what you're thinking, when was there the first sequel to Open Water? People barely remember the nifty, tense but ultimately forgettable low-budget one that came out around the same time as Phone Booth and played with a similar, singular location premise.
Well, there's a third one and the trailer is actually very cool.
It's POV, found footage style, so similar to Blair Witch/Paranormal Activity etc, and centres on what happens when a huge wave hits a boat in shark infested waters. Hint; it's not good.
Really fun trailer and great use of soundtrack. Reminder of the first film below.
It's On Demand and in Cinemas in the US in August, so we'd expect a streaming release here a month or so after.
