This sort of sappy stuff will always find a young adult audience.
Starring Jurassic World’s Nick Robinson and 13 Reason Why’s Katherine Langford, this latest American teen comedy-drama follows a closeted, gay, seventeen year old high schooler who gets outed by his pen pal, Blue.
Jennifer Garner and Josh Duhamel co-star as Simon’s parents and it’s based on a young adult novel (as they all tend to be) called Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli.
The last really good foray into this genre was probably The Perks of Being a Wallflower but we have to admit, Love, Simon shows promise.
