Released back in 1996, Michael Collins was one of the most highly-anticipated films in Irish cinema.
Starring an all-star cast that included Liam Neeson, Aidan Quinn, Julia Roberts and Alan Rickman, it also featured a young Jonathan Rhys-Meyers and Game of Thrones' Charles Dance. We spoke to director Neil Jordan about how he approached the story, casting Liam Neeson in the role and what the English actors on-set thought of the film's depiction of violence.
Michael Collins will be released for the first time on Blu-Ray on March 4th, followed by a re-release in cinemas on March 18th.
