There's Oscar bait and then there's this.
Natalie Portman stars as Jackie Kennedy in 'Jackie', which follows the widow of the 35th President of the United States during her period of grief in the immediate aftermath of John F. Kennedy's assassination in 1963, and it's safe to say she'll be up for all the statues come awards season.
Portman more than likely faces stiff competition from Amy Adams and Emma Stone this year but 'Jackie' looks like it ticks all the voters boxes and should pull in a haul of trophies once they start to be handed out.
'Jackie' is set for release in Irish cinemas on January 20th.
