HBO have just released a brand new trailer for their upcoming Liberace biopic. Michael Douglas stars as the renound pianist, while Matt Damon takes on the role of his drive/long-term love Scott Thorson for the made-for-TV movie.

This latest sneak peek hints at what's to come from the film, which director Steven Soderbergh previously claimed was "too gay" for mainstream Hollywood. Former West Wing star Rob Lowe looks particularly, errr, amusing, as Liberace's plastic surgeon, while Dan Akroyd stars as his manager, and Debbie Reynolds takes on the role of his mother.

If the trailer is anything to go by, it looks as though this will be one compelling little drama. The film airs on HBO in the USA on Sunday May 26th, with a European air date yet to be confirmed.
