Having kicked off production back in October, it looks like the Spider-Man spin-off Venom is well and truly on its way.
The film stars Tom Hardy in the title role. Venom, who previously appeared in the movie Spiderman 3 when he was played by Topher Grace, is a character that’s well-known for being an adversary of Spidey. The supervillain was created when journalist Eddie Brock is taken over by an alien parasite.
New leaked footage from the set of Venom would seem to be displaying just that sequence as we see Hardy appear to be fighting off some kind of parasite as he slams and opens a car door repeatedly and walks around as if something is inside him.
It’s not long but we’re excited to see what the final product becomes:
Venom is directed by Ruben Fleischer and also stars Jenny Slate, Riz Ahmed and Michelle Williams.
