Johnny Depp and moustaches really do go hand in hand, don't they?
Judging by this new trailer for caper-comedy Mortdecai, there's a lot of moustache to contend with.
Based on a series of pulp thrillers from the 1970's, Depp plays Lord Mortdecai - a foppish aristocrat who's hired by the government to track down a stolen Goya painting.
Joined by his manservant Jock, played by Paul Bettany and his wife Johanna, played by Gwyneth Paltrow, he enters the murky world of illegal art-dealing and gets caught up with a bunch of shady types.
Rounding out the cast is Ewan McGregor, Jeff Goldblum and Olivia Munn.
Initial thoughts? David Koepp, the director, has attempted this kind of zany comedy before in the form of Ghost Town. Remember that? With Ricky Gervais? Yeah, exactly.
Don't get us wrong, we're fans of Depp and his impressive moustache and this looks just the right amount of goofy - but is it going to be the huge franchise it's being hyped up to be?
Who knows. Take a look at the trailer and judge for yourself.
