If you're looking for your seal of approval from Bill Murray, you just got it.
Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson and Annie Potts joined Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones on Kimmel last night for his Ghostbusters special and the big question was asked of and answered by Bill Murray pretty fast.
When asked why, after years of pitches for a Ghostbusters sequel or remake, this was the version that deserved to be made, Murray replied: "It was only because I knew these girls were funny."
There were plenty of other shenanigans on the show too, with Kimmel separating the new and old casts for their own less chaotic interviews, but not before he got everyone excited with a performance of the original Ghostbusters theme song by the one and only Ray Parker Jr. (!!).
