Jay Baruchel's made a career out of playing self-effacing, easily affable characters - primarily because he seems that way in real-life.
As a lifelong sports fan, Baruchel wrote the 2011 ice-hockey comedy Goon and is currently working on the sequel, which he'll also write and direct. However, between this and the excellent Man Seeking Woman, Baruchel's also got a small documentary lined up about another passion in his life - Celtic Football Club.
Yes, Baruchel is a diehard Bhoy and has followed the sport from the other side of the Atlantic for many years, but has never made a pilgrimage to Celtic Park. That's all about to change as Baruchel and soccer journalist Eoin O'Callaghan set off on a journey to discover Baruchel's roots in Westport and to see a match in Celtic Park.
There's no word yet on whether or not Celtic Soul will be screened here, but we'll be keeping an eye out as this looks pretty damn cool.
