Very few people saw the film Monsters, but enough to get that micro-budgeted and ace indie flick's director a gig helming the mighty Godzilla. While Gareth Edwards doesn't return this time, he's still heavily involved the sequel, Monsters: Dark Continent as Executive Producer.
Featuring What Richard Did star Sam Keeley, who's beginning to really mark his mark as an actor, it's set ten years after the events of the first film - which was predominately a love story - and was filmed on location in Jordan.
Keeley will next been seen in Heart of the Sea opposite Chris Hemsworth, Cillian Murphy and Brendan Gleeson under the direction of Ron Howard.
