John Michael McDonagh, who wrote and directed The Guard and Calvary, brings his black sense of humour once again to his latest.
The flick stars Alexander Skarsgård (who recently played the king of the jungle in The Legend of Tarzan) and Michael Peña as two corrupt cops working in New Mexico. They blackmail and frame every criminal they come across, and even get put on sabbatical for their dodgy activities. They eventually mess with the wrong guy.
The film got positive reviews when it screened at the Berlin Film Festival last February so it should be worth checking out when it hits Irish screens October 7th.
