This has to be one of the best mash-ups we've seen in quite some time.

Edtior Steve Ramsden noted when watching The Grand Budapest Hotel just how much of Wes Anderson's camerawork looked eerily similar to The Shining.

Sure, they're both set in a hotel where "some things happen, not all of them good" and they both feature a man slowly turning insane from... No, let's not ruin it.

Just take a look.

Seriously, that's some damn fine editing.

It really is completely seamless, how they can switch from one film to another and you barely clock it.

Also, who wants to see a horror film directed by Wes Anderson now?
