As you may or may not know, Jimmy Kimmel is a huge comic-book nerd who's regularly made a point of having stars of various comic-book movies on his show.
As well as debuting one of the first trailers for Batman V Superman, Kimmel's also good friends with Ben Affleck - so that's obviously a help. This, however, was on another level. As Affleck was on talking about the upcoming film and so forth, the conversation got into deleted scenes from the film and, sure enough, Kimmel starred in one.
Here's that scene in question.
In fairness, that's always been one of the things that kinda bugged us about Superman. Sure, wearing glasses and a suit might have worked in the '50s, but they pretty much figured out by Richard Donner's version that glasses just wasn't going to wash with people anymore. Whatever about Batman, sure, his whole face is under the cowl and he hides in the shadows, but Superman's front-and-centre and without a mask.
How can they only expect to keep that up? Here's hoping it's addressed in Batman V Superman.
