The adventures of Gru, Lucy, their adopted daughters Margo, Edith and Agnes, and the Minions are set to continue next summer as the 'Despicable Me' franchise returns for the third installment in the main series.
Joining Steve Carell and Kristen Wiig in the film iis Emmy, Tony and Grammy Award winner Trey Parker (yes, he of 'South Park' and 'The Book of Mormon' fame) as villain Balthazar Bratt, a former child star who’s grown up to become obsessed with the character he played in the ‘80s, who proves to be Gru’s most formidable nemesis to date.
Expect the usual hijinks from all, and prepare to have Minion fever take over the child population once again. Fingers crossed they don't get a fascination for shoulder pads out of it. Some things need to stay in the '80s.
'Despicable Me 3' is set for release in Irish cinemas on June 30th 2017.
