I'm just going to come out and say it; if this here trailer is anything to go by, Luke Bracey and Edgar Ramirez are no Keanu Reeves or Patrick Swayze (on the upside, Ray Winstone appears to be playing Gary Busey's Pappas)... They are entirely different beasts.
This reboot sees the characters upgraded somewhat. Utah is an FBI agent assigned to infiltrate a herd of "extreme sports addicts" who also happen to be bank robbers. Thankfully, Utah just so happens to be an extreme athlete in his spare time. Oh, and Teresa Palmer plays Tank Girl.
You'll have to wait 'til Christmas to see the rest of it.
