The life and times of Brian Wilson, the genius behind the Beach Boys, have been more than dramatic.
Wilson suffered - and still does to this day - from auditory hallucinations, which were a symptom of schizoaffective disorder. As it became more pronounced, he had to bring on a psychologist who eventually corrupted his life.
That's the story of Love & Mercy. There Will Be Blood's Paul Dano plays the musician in his younger years whilst John Cusack plays his post Beach Boys-era.
Meanwhile, Elisabeth Banks and Paul Giamatti round out the supporting cast.
If you're a fan of 1960's surf music, or even just music biopics in general, this is one for you.
No Irish release date has been set as yet, unfortunately, but we'll be keeping an eye on this one.
