After taking Sundance by storm, Lenny Abrahamson's finally given us a decent flavour of what to expect from his latest film Frank in the first full-length trailer.
Having teamed up with some serious big names for his follow-up to 2012's What Richard Did (launching the Hollywood career of Jack Reynor), Abrahamson leads a stellar cast with some homegrown familiar faces in the form of Domhnall Gleeson and Michael Fassbender (although it doesn't look like we'll be seeing much of his face) as well as Hollywood royalty Maggie Gyllenhaal and writers Jon Ronson (The Men Who Stare at Goats) & Peter Straughan (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy).
Frank is a fictional story that's loosely inspired by Frank Sidebottom, the alternative persona of cult musician and comedian Chris Sievey and tells the tale of young wannabe musician Jon (Gleeson), who finds himself a little out of his depth among a band of eccentric pop musicians led by the mysterious titular character Frank (Fassbender) who appears to refuse to ever remove his giant mask.
Frank is set to be released in cinema on May 2nd.
