Tone and plot-wise, the film draws much likeness to Sisters, last year’s Tina Fey/Amy Poehler starrer in which two sisters decide to throw one final all-out party at the house they grew up in before their parents decide to sell it.
There’s a similar message of ‘we might be grown-ups but we can have fun too’, the results of which can be mixed.
At the end of the day, we just want something that makes us laugh so we're hoping Office Christmas Party delivers on that. After all, 'tis the season to be jolly.
