Nocturnal Animals is the second film by Tom Ford, whose debut A Single Man, starring Colin Firth, was a critical hit. Ford is best-known for being a fashion designer and his attention to visual aesthetics was beautifully accomplished in A Single Man. The same can be seen in the trailer for his latest.
Nocturnal Animals stars Adams as an art gallery owner and Gyllenhaal as a writer. The two were married but divorced and have not spoken in almost 20 years. Susan (Adams) is haunted by Tony’s (Gyllenhaal) new novel, which is about violence and revenge.
Michael Shannon, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Isla Fisher and Laura Linney also star in the thriller, which is due to hit cinemas this November.
