Angelina Jolie's 'Unbroken' got its first look at the weekend, as the trailer for the fascinating story of Olympian and War hero Louis Zamperini, was released.
The movie follows the remarkable life of Mr. Zamperini, played by Skins' star Jack O Connell, an Olympian conscripted to fight for the US in World War II, who endures a near fatal plane crash, surviving on a raft for 47 days only to be captured by the Japanese Navy, who send him to a prisoner of war camp.
Domhnall Gleeson co-stars alongside Garrett Hedlund, Jai Courtney and Japanese actor Miyavi.
The film marks Jolie's second go in the director's chair, following her 2011 debut In The Land of Blood and Honey.
It'll be a while yet before it hits Irish screens, however, with a release date set for the 16th of January 2015. One to keep an ear out for, nonetheless.
