Arguably one of the biggest and most hyped movies to hit Irish cinemas in a long time, Gravity has finally hit the big screens in front of which your collective bums will comfortably sit.
As we continue to praise Alfonso Cuaron's cinematic creation for his use of sound and aesthetics - visually this is stunning, never mind the story itself - we thought why not hear from the man himself?
Just how tough was this movie to make? What did Sandra Bullock and George Clooney bring to the movie that noone else could? How did he resist the urge to rely on flashbacks with which to pad out this space-set story? And if it was such an amazing experience, why has he been quoted as saying he'd rather eat his own arm than do it again?
OK he didn't say it quite like that but hey, I'm a drama queen.
Check out my one on one with Alfonso Cuaron (in which I tell him that his movie made me feel physically sick. Facepalm interview moment goes to Caroline, smooth as ever. But I actually meant it as a compliment because it's SO visually realistic) below.
Gravity is out NOW!
